- Mike Smithson on Political Betting asks how long the current government can go on blaming the previous Labour government. Well, I would suggest if the previous Labour government is any yardstick looking at how long they continued to blame the previous Tory administration, at least 13 years.

I don't buy the 'green jobs' thing.
I thought the idea of green policies was to save the planet - not provide jobs.
Imagine a doctor explains how a new medicine will:
1) Save your life
2) Comes in a nice bottle
You don't really need reason #2 and it undermines reason #1. Every time the doctor repeats reason #2 you start to wonder if the doctor really believes #1 herself.
