For example, the power to request a name and address from a person acting in an anti-social manner, issuing a Penalty Notice for Disorder (actually supplied by BTP on the railways) for certain minor offences such as behaviour like to alarm, harrass or distress and Trespass on the Railway, the power to confiscate tabacco products from an under age person, the power to confiscate alcohol from an under age person....HmmStigynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3881762807913180318.post-88045123385207474902010-08-04T01:12:39.016+01:002010-08-04T01:12:39.016+01:00Anonymous Anonymous said...

To me, the term is the opposite of "military" and the police should not be a military force or considered to be like one. Occasionally, when I have complained about this on police blogs, they reply that they have to use this term as they need some way to distinguish between police officers and police service employees, although what is wrong with the two terms I've just used I do not know.

Anyway, it's good to see that the BTP did well on this occasion.knirirrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02204415918424861357noreply@blogger.com
