House of Comments - Episode 103 - Full House

Episode 103 of the House of Comments podcast "Full House" is out. This week I am joined by Labour PPC Uma Kumaran and Max Wind-Cowie an associate at the think-tank Demos to discuss the budget including pensions and inevitably bingo, student loans and whether there is nepotism in parliament.

I am interested in the comment Uma made that we had seen the largest fall in living standards since 1790 (I think that was the date). I haven't heard that one before and wondered if anyone could provide a link, please?

If they are subsidising bingo, why not go the whole hog and subsidise flights to Vegas? Or better still, create a UK version of Vegas, including greasy bacon rashers.
